    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using Karo HR (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

    2. Description of Service

    Karo HR is a cloud-based HR management platform designed for Indian MSMEs. The Service includes modules for attendance tracking, leave management, expense & advance management, payroll processing, employee management, and related HR functionalities.

    3. Account Registration

    • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
    • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
    • One organization may maintain one primary account with multiple users

    4. Subscription Plans & Billing

    • Starter Plan: Free for up to 10 employees for the first year
    • Growth Plan: ₹49 per employee per month for teams with 10+ employees. Pricing starts from month 1.
    • Setup Pack: ₹2,499 one-time onboarding support package for Starter plan customers
    • Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST)

    5. User Responsibilities

    • Ensure all employee data entered is accurate and up-to-date
    • Comply with applicable Indian labour laws and regulations
    • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
    • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the Service
    • Maintain appropriate access controls within your organization

    6. Data Ownership

    You retain ownership of all data you upload to Karo HR. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

    7. Service Availability

    We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for service interruptions due to factors beyond our control.

    8. Limitation of Liability

    Karo HR is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

    9. Termination

    • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support
    • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
    • Upon termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days
    • After the export period, data will be permanently deleted within 90 days

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

    11. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
